I agree that it IS a numbers game and some of the people he meets are probably just not a match. But if he's already pinpointed a problem potentially in himself and seen similarities (which are VERY common BTW) to other posters than wouldn't it be smart to explore that and perhaps change some things up---you cannot keep changing the "people" up and never consider for a moment that it is your approach or at least that's part of the problem.
